Dear Sponsor:
As each day goes by, I am constantly overwhelmed by your generosity. You have come through once again and our students are back in school. Every single one of them. Please allow me to thank Mr. Ian Dlamini and Mr. Joshua Mpofu who provide their assistance on the ground to ensure our students’ fees are paid, timely updates are made to and from the Universities and receipts are generated for your information. We could not do this without their support. The needs that we face are so overwhelming to say the least. There are more students on the side-lines who are asking for sponsorship and it makes it seem as though what we are doing is a drop in the bucket. Some students do manage to raise funding for the first, second, or third semesters, or even ultimately to their final year, and along the way, it becomes impossible for them to continue or to push through to graduation. I had to bite the bullet as I was confronted with such once again and had to take a leap of faith and added 3 more students who are already enrolled at NUST. Mr. Ncube the Career Guidance and Employment Officer at NUST provided details of the students and they are: FAITH SIBANDA NUST Medicine (Final Year) MARVELOUS NCUBE NUST Sports Science (Second Year) NOKUNENE DEMADEMA NUST Records and Archive Mgt (Second Year) Since my last communication, the following sponsors made contributions to our scholarship Fund: Mr. and Mrs. Gorte (Scott and Krystal) US Ms. Rosa Alvarez and John Adams US Mrs. Hlengiwe Sibanda (In memory of the Late Prof. Benson Sibanda) US Ms. Monique Bolden US Mr. Nkululeko Mloyi SA Ms. Nicole Beuchler US Mr. Frank Tripicchio US Dr. Precious Zikhali SA Mr. Ayanda Khumalo SA Ms. Thokozile Mkwanazi US Ms. Busi Bango Zim Mr. V.B. Sibanda Zim Mrs. Hlengiwe Sibanda (In memory of the Late Prof. Benson Sibanda) US Mr. and Mrs. Swift (Al and Sheila) US Mr. Peter Hill US Thank you, thank you, thank you for your sacrificial giving. Sometimes it is as though a simple Thank You is inadequate to express the level of my gratitude and that of our students. Please see attached updated Contribution Spreadsheet for your records. Our updated Student Database is also attached. As our Sponsor you can participate in various capacities such as: Dedicated Sponsor by selecting a student you can sponsor for the duration of their education Contributor to our Fund whenever you are able A Mentor to our Students A facilitator if you own a business or through some of your networks, for their Internship/Attachment or career guidance and employment leads after graduation A contributor on fundraising ideas or assistant in the day to day administrative functions of this Fund A prayer warrior for our students and sponsors. For guidance on how to grow the Fund so we can meet the overwhelming needs faced by many students in Zimbabwe. Every single person in my distribution can select to play one or more of the roles listed. We desperately need support in every capacity. All these efforts will go a long way in assisting our students as we develop our future generation.
